Mitragyna speciosa is a tropical evergreen tree native to Southeast Asia, and part of the Coffee family. It has been consumed by humans for hundreds of years in certain cultures. 

The most abundant Alkaloid in Mitragyna speciosa is Mitragynine (also referred to as MIT). While the effects can vary depending on the product and person consuming it, Mitragynine is generally considered to provide an uplifting feeling (not completely unlike coffee or chocolate). Typically, the higher the MIT extract percentage (%), the more energizing the product.

Mitragyna speciosa is mood-altering. And – like anything that makes you feel good – it can become habit-forming. Consume mindfully, and do not consume it every day.
